Melanie Dacres, MCSI, Head of Compliance, MLRO.

Melanie joined our team in December 2009 as Head of Compliance/ MLRO. She is responsible for ensuring the firm meets its regulatory obligations.

Melanie has over seven years Compliance experience working in the City of London for large investment banks such as JP Morgan and Citigroup and other online trading companies.

She says: "Senior Management at CSS take compliance matters seriously and lead by example. The result is that the firm has a good compliance culture. We strive to make sure our systems and controls are robust, especially in connection with ensuring our customers are treated fairly".

Philip Burgess, Compliance

Phil has joined Collins Sarri Statham Investments with nearly 33 years experience in the City of London. From starting his career in 1976, he has gained vast experience in the Foreign Exchange and Equities markets. Having worked through the Stock market crash of 1987, the subsequent devaluation of sterling caused by Britain’s withdrawal from the Exchange Rate Mechanism in 1992, the Dot.Com crash of 1999/2000 and the current credit crunch, he has spent the last 4 years developing his skills in Compliance.

Reema Patel, LLB, Compliance

Reema joined the Compliance team at Collins Sarri Statham in August 2010. Reema completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in 2008. She gained experience in the legal sector and then decided to pursue her interest in Compliance and embarked upon a career in Compliance.

Prior to joining Collins Sarri Statham, Reema worked in the Legal and Compliance team at an expert networking firm in the West End. Among other functions, she carried out compliance and conflict checks for clients namely top ten hedge funds and private equity funds.

Alice Blackholly, Trade Support

Alice joined CSS after working two years as a Claims Assistant in a Professional Indemnity Risk Management Company where she started after leaving college. Alice has experience with assisting Claims Managers, Brokers and Solicitors in a variety of situations and joining CSS has broadened her abilities.”
